Common management wisdom dictates that:

“Measurement is the first step that leads to control and eventually to improvements. If you can’t measure something you can’t understand it. If you can’t understand it, you can’t control it. If you can’t control it, you can’t improve it” James Harrington

In short, what gets measured, gets done. Continuous measuring and monitoring of police performance, is essential for keeping focus on all that matters for success.

This site aims to be a “One Stop” Hub for Collaborative Police KPIs (Crowd Sourced from Police Forces), available and accessible to all police forces globally, and to explore and Empower performance and share best practices.

We hope, that this site will offer police forces, Law Enforcement bodies, police executives and other interested parties the opportunity to agree on a set of core business K.P.I, these K.P.I can then be the basis of police performance benchmarking and analysis.

For starters, perhaps, ten main KPIs can be agreed. Each KPI will be given a common agreed upon definition, methodology of measurement and tracked by Police Forces who subscribe to this website (Subscription based). Privacy would be assured and guaranteed, only subscribed members can access and obtain data. Updating data and ensuring its accuracy and integrity is the sole responsibility of the K.P.I owner. It is envisioned that the website could be gradually developed to become a police benchmarking and best practice reference site.
